Jim Prentice was interviewed on CBC's Search Engine about Bill C-61. He sounds unsure of his own legislation, and in some cases is purposely misleading about the amount of the penalty for circumventing a digital lock.

Then he hangs up on the interviewer with a flimsy excuse.

It's online, so you can have a listen. It's entertaining, if a bit pathetic (and not too long - he only lasts 10 minutes or so).

Huh. I was just about to reply to your last entry with a link to this story, but it appears you are much faster than I gave you credit.

Do you think this bill will actually make it through? I mean, how can it? Even people who don't know much about this kind of thing are scratching their heads, wondering why the Tories are selling us out so transparently.
