A few weeks back, our beloved Conservative government announced a new policy: international treaties would be tabled in the House of Commons so that MPs could all have a say on whether or not to sign on.

So, the government now wants to pass new copyright legislation. Oh, but what's this? It's based on two WIPO[1] treaties? Shouldn't those treaties have to be tabled in the House of Commons before any new legislation is passed?

Apparently not.

For mercy's sake, can someone please buy these people a clue?

Wow. Can we have new government soon, please?

(I'll just keep copying and pasting my previous comment until it happens, ok?)
