thebookpileWith a ton of schoolwork, I had been neglecting canpolitik. Going back and re-reading some posts by a 23-year-old gun nut[1] makes me relieved that I was away for this short period. Some people are making an effort to post decent stories in order to bring the signal-to-noise ratio back to a decent level. Hopefully they'll endure longer than the crazies.
I've been really busy for these first three days this week. I got ahead in my work so the rest of this week and the start of the next will be relatively calm. Yay!
Also, my trivia team went down a little in the standings last night. The good news is that we came up with a new and better name: I Like Big Books and I Cannot Lie.
[1] When one of his personal posts is titled "My parents are such douchebags", which includes the line "They argue and hate the fact that I have knives with such vigilance that they have banned me from bringing them to their house." So your own parents don't trust you with knives and you expect society to trust you with a gun. Brilliant.
