I drove home today. I left early, had to stop in Cornwall for quite a while before finally making it to Ottawa. Door-to-door, including stops, from London to Ottawa was almost exactly 12 hours. I pulled out of my landlord's driveway at 6am and pulled into my driveway at home at 5:55pm. It has been a long day. The calf muscle in my "bad" leg feels very stiff. I will make sure I stretch it properly before bed.

The workload hit this week. I have a lot of readings to do this weekend. I also have to read Pride and Prejudice before Tuesday.

Fortunately, I got a bit of my own reading done before I was assigned too much homework. I read Al Gore's The Assault on Reason, as well as Maus I & II. That will likely be it until the term is over, but at least my Literature Appreciation class will force me to work through some of The Pile (Frankenstein, for example, has been sitting there for years).
