thebookpileI turned on the TV this morning and watched as Stephen Harper drove a few hundred meters with four (four!) vehicles from 24 Sussex Drive up the pathway to Rideau Hall. Then I cycled in to work from Orleans to downtown (coincidentally, past 24 Sussex) to put in some extra hours before the week begins.
On the way home on Friday, I got in flat in my rear wheel and had to use my last spare inner tube. When I went to MEC to buy two new spares yesterday, I also bought a mirror for my bike. I installed it before leaving today and can't believe the difference it makes in downtown traffic!
