I was back in Ottawa for the weekend. I feel so refreshed for the week, despite bad driving in both directions (crazy Toronto traffic when coming home, and then crazy, soup-thick fog when driving back to London).
I managed to get some readings done and get a little ahead on my assignments. On Saturday morning, I made breakfast for The Missus and I, just like I used to do every Saturday. I brought home Blankets to put on my bookshelf and she spent part of the weekend on the sofa reading it (my new desktop background is The Missus reading with Pistache sleeping beside her). To break up my work, I played quite a bit of Guitar Hero. Medium is too easy but Hard is too difficult for me.
Before I left, The Missus surprised me with a burned audio CD "to remind me of home". It was filled with Guitar Hero songs!
That's all that's been happening for me. Working on papers, lots of driving and a bit a few stolen moments at home. My life is busy but simple.
