Microsoft to add support for ODF in Office 2007

This made my day.

I use OpenOffice, which uses Open Document Format (ODF), an open standard. Now I can send all of my Word-using friends ODF documents knowing that they can view them.

No more exporting to .doc for your convenience! You have been warned!
