*sigh* Wish I was studying in one of these libraries

Two years ago when I visited Oxford, I toured the Bodleian library. An American woman that I had met at the hostel had signed up for the tour and I decided to tag along at the last minute.

It was breathtaking. There was so much history. For example, during the build-up to the English Civil War, both PM Oliver Cromwell and King Charles I tried to take out non-circulating books. They were both scolded by the librarian and sent away empty-handed.

Anyways, while I'm here in the UWO's Graduate Resource Centre working on an essay about the Library of Congress Subject Headings, I'm wishing I could be doing so somewhere with a little more grandeur.

Perhaps in one of these places.

The Bodleian is shown, as is the Library of Congress, and the Library of Parliament in Ottawa.

Back to work...

Let me just say...

...that this is some fantastic news. I really hope they can do it.
